How to book a workshop or Glow Meet.
  1. Choose your topic.
A full list of topics is available online for Broad General Education and Nationals 3, 4 and 5, and Higher History - Scottish Units. Alternatively, you can print off our Schools Programme as an Acrobat PDF (499KB , new window).

  2. Choose your preferred date and time.
Workshops at NRS are delivered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00, from 1 September 2015 to 31 March 2016. The maximum group size is 33 pupils per session. Please have a couple of alternative dates in mind, in case your preferred date is unavailable.

Glow Meet sessions are available, by arrangement, between 10:00 and 15:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can book a single 30-45 minute session that will focus on one aspect of a topic or you can book up to a maximum of three sessions for greater depth. Where a number of sessions are booked, we expect pupils to undertake some additional activities in the classroom between sessions. We will meet you online at least two weeks in advance of the first session to test connectivity and to finalise the content of the session(s).

  3. Make a provisional booking.
Once you have chosen your title and preferred date(s), please phone us to make a provisional booking. Advance booking is essential with a minimum of two weeks prior notice.

  4. Confirm your booking.
Provisional bookings must be confirmed by completing and returning the booking form (Acrobat PDF, 136KB, new window). We will confirm receipt of your booking form by email within 5 working days.

Please provide us with full information about the age and stage of your class and what you hope they will achieve from working with NRS.

Please note that if you fail to confirm your provisional booking, your preferred date may be re-allocated.

If you need to amend or cancel your booking, please give us as much notice as possible.
